Privacy Policy
The short version. We collect what we need to make your tour and get paid: your contact details, the property address, your photos and your order details. Card payments are handled by Stripe, and we never see your full card number. We don't sell your information, we don't use advertising trackers, and you can ask us to see, correct or delete what we hold about you.
This policy explains how Picture It Tour ("we", "us") handles personal information collected through pictureittour.com and when you order from us. It applies to visitors, customers, and people who contact us.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details: your name, email address, and, if you choose to give them, your phone number and brokerage.
- Property details: the property's street address, city, state and ZIP code.
- Photos and links: links to photo galleries, links to listings (such as Zillow or Airbnb), and the photographs they contain.
- Your order: the tour and add-ons you choose, any notes you add, and your confirmations about photo rights and AI-generated content.
- Revision requests: your order code, the email address on the order, your name, and what you would like changed.
- Messages: anything you send us by email.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe inside a secure checkout on our site. Your card details go directly to Stripe; we never receive or store your full card number. From Stripe we receive your name, email address, the amount paid, and whether the payment succeeded.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, the services that host and deliver it (listed in section 4) receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you request. They use it to deliver the site, keep it secure, and prevent abuse. We do not use analytics or advertising tracking tools.
2. How we use your information
- To create and deliver your tour, clips or images.
- To take payment, issue your order code, and send order and revision confirmations.
- To handle revision requests, including keeping count of how many each order has used.
- To reply to your messages and give you updates about your order.
- To protect our site and our customers from fraud and abuse.
- To keep business, accounting and tax records and meet our legal obligations.
We don't send marketing emails unless you ask us to. We may show finished tours in our portfolio as described in our Terms & Licensing, but we never publish your name or contact details with them.
3. Your photos and AI processing
To produce your deliverables, we upload your photographs and related property details to third-party generative AI services. Those services process the material to generate your tour or images, under their own terms and privacy policies. Please don't include people, documents or other personal information in the photos you send unless it's needed.
4. Who we share information with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed for them to do so:
- Cloudflare hosts and protects our website.
- Formspree delivers the forms you submit to our email inbox.
- Stripe processes payments and screens them for fraud.
- Supabase stores our order and revision records.
- ImageKit delivers the images and videos shown on our site.
- Google provides our email (Gmail) and the fonts used on the site, which means your browser requests them from Google's servers.
- Email delivery services send order and revision confirmations.
- Generative AI services process your photos to create deliverables, as described in section 3.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of selling or transferring the business, in which case this policy continues to apply.
5. We don't sell your information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We don't share personal information with other businesses for their own direct marketing.
6. Cookies and tracking across other sites
Our site does not set advertising or analytics cookies, and we don't allow other companies to collect information about your browsing across different websites through our site. When you pay, Stripe may use cookies and device information to process the payment and prevent fraud. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary cookies to keep the site secure.
7. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Because we don't track visitors across other websites, our site behaves the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, which we don't do in any case.
8. How long we keep information
- Photographs you send: deleted 90 days after delivery, as set out in our terms.
- Order, payment and revision records: kept for up to seven years for accounting and tax purposes.
- Form submissions and emails: kept for up to two years after our last contact, unless they're part of an order record.
9. Your choices: seeing, correcting or deleting your information
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email pictureittour@gmail.com from the address you used with us, or include your order code so we can confirm it's you. We'll respond within 45 days.
We may keep some information where the law requires it, such as payment records needed for tax. We won't treat you differently for making a request.
10. California residents
California law gives residents rights over their personal information, including the right to know what is collected and how it's used and shared, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. Whether or not a particular law applies to a business of our size, we honor these requests from anyone, using the process in section 9.
11. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted connections, restricted access to our order records, and payment handling by Stripe rather than by us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
12. Children
Our services are for real estate professionals, property owners and hosts. They are not directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
13. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the effective date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use information you've already given us, we'll also let customers know by email.
